hi.
im back (briefly)

I've had....a lot of chronic illnesses and personal situations rise up rather suddenly the past, well. long time. so i haven't been on. bad excuse, but it's better than none.

chronic illnesses are a bitch lemme tell ya. especially ones that make it hard to walk and write and see and well, do normal human-being things. 

im sorry for disappearing for so long but i guess life got in the way of everything as life tends to do. that's all.

I'm kinda tired of pretending.
It's really hard keeping up the persona I have on here.
Allow me to start over again.

My name is G, short for Genevieve but I prefer to go by G.
I'm asexual and agender.
I am 16 years old.
I'm a high school student.

This is what I look like:


You can still call me Mab, you can use female pronouns and w/e, but I was tired about putting up the 'yes I am a legal and competent adult' persona on here because it started feeling really fake, and that's part of the reason why I haven't been on here lately, because I felt like a fake.

Not only that, but I've met some wonderful artists and wonderful people on here, people I consider friends, and I really didn't/don't want to disappoint them. I wanted to be accepted on that level, so I insinuated that I was older than I was without directly giving my age.

Reflecting back, that probably wasn't the smartest idea.

However, I am out now. I am here and this is the real me, the real Mab, the real G.

I'm back again for a brief amount of time.

Life seems to enjoy getting in the way of things, heh.

Well, art-wise, I'm more creative, have some painting/mixed media things and some photography things to share with you all.
Exciting stuff, I'd like to think.

Personally, I've been sick as a dog and heavily medicated, which is why, when it comes down to brass tacks, I've been so inactive, plus the fact that my internet connection is sketchy to boot.

Regardless, it's nice to be back for a little while and see what there is to see.

I really appreciated seeing all of those lovely birthday messages in my inbox, they really brightened up my day and made me so , so incredibly happy.

To all my watchers who have remained after my lengthy hiatus, thank you for being here, I love and appreciate every single one of you.

Been an insanely long time I've been away this time, so terribly sorry about that, but you know how life gets in the way of things, eh?

I've been working at school and such stuff as that, not really playing or doing anything fun so grant me that leniency at least.

I have a painting/mixed media piece I've been working on the past six months, so I'll post some pictures of that, and I have a couple of photographs that turned out nicely too.

When it comes down to brass tacks, the reason I haven't been on dA a lot is because I've been sick as a dog and heavily medicated to boot, plus my internet is sketchy to say the least.

Regardless, I want to thank all of the people who left me lovely messages on my birthday, they really made me quite happy and brightened up my inbox quite a lot, I love you all dearly and hope you've been well.
